In Memoriam Nelson Mandela

Many of us in South London remembered Nelson Mandela visit to Brixton in July 1996 which formed an exciting part of his state visit that month as President of South Africa. There was an amazing outpouring of love and respect.This was a man who had overcome apartheid and racial prejudice and hatred to create a new nation.
